Original watercolor on 300lb watercolor paper then photographed and arranged to fit a custom envelope template, laser printed on 8.5" x 11", Southworth White 24lb 100% cotton paper. Each envelope was cut from that paper using an Ellison Prestige Pro Cutter with a custom 6-3/4 envelope die and hand-assembled. Only 55 were made.

Boston Harbor Light
In 1715 the Colony of Massachusetts Bay spent almost 2,400 British pounds to construct a light tower, on a hill overlooking Boston Harbor, the first in the New World.

Initially the tower housed 16 oil lamps; In 1811, they were replaced by the more effective Argand lamps. When the tower was raised to 89 feet, it was refitted with a 12-sided 2nd-order Fresnel lens. Boston Harbor Light Station was designated a National Historic Landmark in January 1964. Preservation groups appealed to Congress and the U.S. Coast Guard, and funding was appropriated to keep U.S. Coast Guard staff at the light station, thereby making it the last manned light in the Nation. Boston Light became automated on April 16, 1998, but Coast Guard crew still perform keeper duties. The two million-candle power light, visible for sixteen miles, can be seen shining twenty-four hours a day as a reminder of the inextinguishable American spirit
