The Categories available for selection will evolve over time to accomodate stock that is listed at any particular time. The Primary, or first level, categories will remain the same:
- Stamps
Stamps, and nothing but stamps. I do not collect stamps, so from time to time I will be listing those that come in from bulk purchases, better used stamps from shipments, or excess unused stamps on hand.
- FDC Store
Only Covers will be under this category, and are available for purchase. Predominantly First Day Covers.
- FDC Classifieds
Nothing here at present. FDCUSA may use this category to let specialists post a specific need or question they have related to First Day Covers.
How To Browse The Store
There are many ways to browse for items:
Top Banner
- A search box is located at far left where you can type-in keywords, then the next box is a dropdown where you can specify exactly what category or categories to apply the search to. This searches ALL COMPONENTS of the listings!
Left Side Panes
- At top left, under the banner, is a Treeview window (similar to a Folder Directory on a Computer) which has several categories and sub-categories.
- Below that, you can select a particular cachetmaker - I will be adding more as I post several items made by a particular cachetmaker. If yous see a Cachetmaker listed, that means I have stock for it.
- Below that is "What's New". On that same line, to the right side, is a small Right-Arrow - click it to see all the new postings in one shot.
- Below that is "Quick Find". Here you may enter any keywords relative to items you wish to find, or you can click "Advanced Search" for more specific searches.
Right Side Panes
- At top right, under the banner, the first window is a link to find out information about the American First Day Cover Society. If you are not a member, please check it out! The cost is minimal compared to the knowledge and fellowship with other collectors you would soon partake in!
- Bestsellers, an auto-scrolling window showing what people have purchased in the most quantity from the store.
- Specials, from time to time items will be placed On Special at a reduced price. They may appear and disappear without notice, so keep checking out this section! To the right of "Specials", click the Right-Arrow at the right to get a complete listing of all Specials currently offered.
- Shop By Price, allows you to find all covers that are in a particular price range.
