The artwork was arranged to fit a custom envelope template, laser printed on 8.5" x 11", 25% cotton rag 24# Southworth Granite paper in gray. Each envelope was cut from that paper using an Ellison Prestige Pro Cutter with a custom 6-3/4 envelope die and hand-assembled.

Aberdeen and West End Railroad
1889 - 1897

The Aberdeen and West End Railroad was built by Allison Francis Page of Aberdeen at the turn of the 20th century. With reorganization in 1893, it was named as the Aberdeen & West End Railroad, then became part of the Aberdeen & Asheboro Railroad in 1897. In 1914 the A&A was acquired by the Raleigh, Charlotte & Southern. That road was in turn merged by the original Norfolk Southern, which was renamed Carolina & Northwestern in 1982. C&NW sold the line to the Aberdeen & Briar Patch Railway in 1983, following their decision to abandon the line. The Aberdeen, Carolina & Western purchased the assets of the ABP in 1987 and is still in operation today.
