Original watercolor painting then photographed and arranged to fit a custom envelope template, laser printed on 8.5" x 11", Southworth linen Gray 28lb 100% cotton paper. Each envelope was cut from that paper using an Ellison Prestige Pro Cutter with a custom 6-3/4 envelope die and hand-assembled. Only 50 were made.

Pinehurst, North Carolina and Pinebluff, North Carolina are both small towns nestled among the
towering Longleaf pines of the Sandhills. Pinehurst is well known as a golfing mecca and Pinebluff
is a peaceful village where longleafs line the pretty streets of an older town. Two of the four pines
depicted on the Forevergreens 2010 Holiday issue are described below and illustrated in my
cachet, along with the beautiful longleaf pines of the Sandhills of North Carolina.

Juniperus virginiana (Eastern Red Cedar,
Red Cedar, Eastern Juniper, Red Juniper,
Pencil Cedar) is a species of juniper native to
eastern North America, from southeastern
Canada to the Gulf of Mexico, east of the
Great Plains.
Picea pungens (Colorado Blue Spruce or
Blue Spruce) is a species of spruce native to
western North America, from southeast
Idaho and southwest Wyoming, south
through Utah and Colorado to Arizona and
New Mexico. It grows at high altitudes
