Original watercolor artwork then photographed and arranged to fit a custom envelope template, laser printed on 8.5" x 11", Southworth Gray Linen Resume paper. Each envelope was cut from that paper using an Ellison Prestige Pro Cutter with a custom 6-3/4 envelope die and hand-assembled. Only 60 were made.

William Sydney Porter was born on September 11, 1862 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was famous for his short stories, many featuring surprising twists of fate. The most famous of those was the "Gift of the Magi". Most of his writings were done under the name of O. Henry.
The prestigious O. Henry Hotel in Greensboro is named for him. The original O. Henry Hotel was built in 1917-1919 and was demolished in 1979. Just three miles away, the beautiful new O. Henry Hotel opened in 1998. O. Henry died in 1910 and is buried in Asheville, North Carolina.
